Given the 18 month order book for the hard top you would expect a launch Autumn 2012 for 2013 build.

I know Mclaren and other manufacturers are concerned about the proposed EEC legislation on UV protection and skin cancer that restricts the roof opening,via inbuilt sensors, to overcast weather only. California has similar legislation in progress.

First time i have heard about this legislation. Very soon it will be illegal to get a tan unless it's overcast. Lawmakers are telling us we cannot open the roof of a convertible if UV too high, that is real stupid.
