I spent time at my dealer and I was 97% sure of my choices. Now my head is spinning. They told me that Mclaren hasn't said no to any requests and here is the proof. What exactly does HS stand for?

This must be 1 of the 5 MSO cars they were working on a couple of months ago for an American customer, apparently they were his own request and design that was approved by Mclaren,if people like the design Mclaren said they would have to ask permission from the customer to replicate it at currently an unknow cost.
Very nice as it looks like it is easily retro fitted, but seen as the vented wings cost 10k,the full package could be 10x that

Interesting that the Mclaren Logo on the bonnet is the old one from the F1!!

Great GT3 rendition but obviously hard to make the race car work on the street.

The front bumper/aero looks more akin to monsory/ferrari/black series with seemingly unnecessary venting and more drag. I like that it comes down lower to the road with more pronounced splitters on each side. The horizontal line that cuts in the middle and flows through to the side vent is pretty cool. It seems like this setup would cut down on the approach angle, which would be fine with me. If it was less effective in cooling the air/water intercooler system that would not be good but it looks effective from this perspective. It certainly provides the look of the GT3 car.

The front wheel arch vents we already know are not functional.

The rear is exactly as I suspected. Two added vents on the sides. The black section in the middle is a nice design cue to the GT3 and the extended rear diffuser is very nice.

I like the package but I doubt i would be willing to pay the extra coin. Given the fact that MSO quoted me over $5k USD for the carbon mirror stalks I can only imagine that these mods would increase the cost of the car by at least 50%.

Cheers to the customer who made this happen! It is great to see and I am sure these will be more collectable. Makes you wonder what the aftermarket will put together for these cars.

To complete the look pull off the active wing and slap on a static race wing. It would be much less effective but would complete the rear end look. And why no stealth pack?

I can't say that I would do any of this but I must say that I appreciate the individuality. I have a couple of ideas up my sleeve but certainly a bit more simple than these. It would be great to hear from other owners with customization and see some pics.

I figured it out, HS stands for Holy Sh!t thats badass.:D
I was thinking "Hot Sh!t" :D

The only thing I would have done differently was to add the Stealth Pkg.

I'll try to get some more information on these in a few days.

I think no stealth pack because the exhaust finishers appear to be polished, rather than the standard alloy finish? Perhaps should have also polished the Air Brake struts to complete the look. Not a bad idea, as it matches the diamond cut finish on the wheels.

Agree the whole design is somewhat half-baked without a big carbon rear wing in place of the Air Brake.

The only part of it that has me really interested is the front treatment. Would love if somebody could photoshop just the front bumper section onto a standard car. That said, I wouldn't make any move without asking McLaren to reveal what change in performance, if any, that would have. The inclusion of the non-functional louvers above the front tires suggest to me that none of these parts improve performance or cooling, which would be a shame. I could live with identical performance, but a decrease would just seem silly for the sake of cosmetic modification.

Very cool nonetheless.

I'm pretty sure the front wing louvres are functional. They look like the same ones I saw on the MSO car at Birmingham in December - they are definitely functional. (I recall checking and there was a mesh between the vent and the wheel)
