That's an interesting read as usual promoting Mclaren philosophy. I always have had the impression they will follow through, it's not just words, hence my comfort as an early adopter.

Shame the MP12 will be out of date so quickly ,as Sheriff points out it is reality in the car business, but at least the cost of change will be minimised if plans are fulfilled by managing output with demand.

Like computers, electronics, etc... Obsolete the day you buy them. I think the 12c will do better, but it is inevitable.

I recall that they wanted to keep a lid on production for 12C's to preserve residuals. Originally, they were saying 1000 cars worldwide per variant if I recall correctly. If they are doing 140 cars a month now and are still ramping up, that's well over 1500 coupes per year.

I thought it was 1500 MP12's, 3000 MP911's and 500 Mega Macs until they add a shift then it's all change.

Guarantee if they are buying they are making.......supply side economics.......in the end it always comes down to; follow the MONEY;):rolleyes:
