Had the opportunity to go to Wilton House in this (as a passenger) and then shoot it in my lunch break the next day. Wish I could have had more time with the car to take photos, but unfortunately my stomach was rumbling and I was needing my daily ham and cheese sandwhich from gregs. The look on the faces of the other people in Gregs was a look of confusion when I got dropped off in the 12C :D Other reason for only having 15mins to do the shoot was we were in a London Park...

I wrote out a really long review of my experience of the 12C, but as my account wasn't approved I've lost it. After a day at work and editing photos when I got home I'm a bit tired so not really in the mood to write something out again. I'll post something in the morning though :)

It's one of the McLaren press cars. Unfortunately it's not quite the final spec. It didn't have working satnav or radio and I think the rear numberplate is going to be a regular sized one for production cars :)
Oh, I've got a little video from my GoPro too from the Wilton House event.

George :)
Hi george, looks like on picture 10 if you were to run to the rev limit its possible to hit 215mph as 6thelement says,is that the traction control thats off also on the left.
also not so economical at that speed ,only 10 miles left on a quarter tank!i wonder if its configured correctly being a pp car?

Damn, thats what happens when your not computor literate, best not tell the kids!!
On the video there is a bit where the spoiler is going up and down rather quickly. IS that due to a use of the brakes or simply letting off the throttle?
Great shots!! That volcano orange really pops in those pictures.

Also, I believe top speed is achieved in sixth gear.?

Wing comes up a little when you press the aero button on the dash, then the whole way when you brake above a certain speed.

Thanks, wish I could have had more time with the car (or shot a silver car as it's easier!)

It was easier to put a 7 as I took part of the N (neutral) and make it a 7 :)
