I wouldn't doubt it. I was told we can convert our cars to them if desired. So that's probably something I'll do after 5-10k

With all the positive feedback on these cars, I wonder why McLaren didn't offer this package in the beginning. Was it truly a MSO response to a customer request, or something else?

I seriously hope that is Sapphire Black. I've not seen any "decent" pictures of that color until this set of pictures.

ok now i changed my mind ! I'm going to have to inquire about ordering one of those. As much as i love the 12C this just makes it ! Gorgeous, and aggressive at the same time while still being subtle enough to not look like a fashion accessory.
Much like the original 360 Challenge Stradale. (which is still my favorite car BTW)

There is a lot of conflicting information about these cars out there, at the moment. I definitely would not trust anything a website like autoblog says. My dealer said McLaren told him there was no additional HP, while others claim that it is real. I've heard the body panels will be offered. I've also heard that they won't be offered. 2 questions that perplex: a) If they were going to offer it as an option in the future, why would they put a "Limited Edition, 1 of 5" plaque" on these ones? The autoblog mentions a modified rear wing? Assuming they are talking about the Air Brake, I don't see anything different about it?

Seems to me whoever commissioned the first 5 paid an awfully large premium to make sure that their cars were unique. For that reason alone, I wouldn't bet on it being generally available.

+1 my mcl dealer told me that the extra power comes from a private tuner not from the factory...

My dealer said that it will be offered as a purchasable kit in the future with the tuning upgrade. I guess whatever we have been hearing should be taken with a grain of salt until Mclaren actually announces something official?

Yes. Even info from various dealers is conflicting. No surprise there, however.

Found this photo on Instagram of what certainly appears to be a 12C HS being delivered in Toronto, Canada.

Is this a second one in McLaren Orange? If so, are there more than 5 of these despite what the interior badge suggested?
