Once you're on boost there is no perceptible lag as you accelerate through the gears...

Does your camera have an external mic input? I'm dying to see a vid with a mic taped beside or underneath the exhaust outlets. No boot though, i guess you'd need to run the mic cord along the side and through window.

Nothing wrong with that. You do wonder what the fuss is about, it's a McLaren Ricardo V8 not a Ferrari Fiat V8.

I was in a Sports Exhaust car yesterday and it really is low noise when tidling along or cruising then gets very hooligan when the loud pedal is pressed. It explodes into life when the engine is started but very civilised in the cabin. But it's too loud for Donnington or Silverston.

Squirrel. Can you do a vid with the controlled start thingy, what's it called? Racing start, Pretend your Lewis start. Ron's way of cheating start. Warp Factor 10 Mr Zulu start.

800 miles for me,and the extra 2500 rpm are epic!!the kick in the back just gets better,and the car is screaming when you come to change up,just been for a countryside run using max revs in second and third,then you run out of road!!!!
downside was 7.6mpg

yes,its has a distance travelled and mpg for that,what it dosent have at the moment is a remaining distance left in the fuel tank ,as it was found not to be accurate

Only 4.6 miles,all in short straights and slow corners with max acceleration between,alot like a track day,the next 5 miles i got it back to 17mpg average over the total distance.
Over the 800 miles i have driven i have averaged 17.9 mpg,not forgetting that 95% of that has been sport/track in manual,always using up to 5000rpm for the first 650 miles,and at least 75miles plus using 8500 rpm.just having fun using the car.i am in no dought that this will easily be above 20mpg plus when ive calmed down,and no problem getting very high 20,s plus when on a long motorway run
