Any collectors here of McLaren, F1, and racing memorabilia?

If-so, what strikes your fancy? What do you have? What do you want?

(ie. chassis, steering-wheel, helmets/visors, pit attire, literature, art, sponsor/advertiser materials)

I have a fairly comprehensive Senna pin/lapel collection (being an admirer of the persona, for obvious reasons); a few Ferrari F1 jackets (Hilfiger & Puma sponsorship days from late '90s & early '00s, being a fan of Schumi & Barichello); a few Bar-Honda F1 novelties & collectibles (being a follower of the team during the time of Button, Sato, Barichello).

I was a fan of CART back-in-the-day, so some collectibles & literature from then/there as well.

It's a shame that I wasn't able to partake in the auction of Bar-Honda & Super-Aguri assets & materiel over the past few years, as there was a lot of very neat stuff available for (relative) pocket-change.

A friend/acquaintance of mine has Schumacher's Benetton F1 car! I'd say adding a desired/coveted chassis to one's man-cave / garage-mahal / car-stable would be the ultimate. Someday, I say... :D

Sounds like you have some really neat stuff! I haven't started down that slippery slope, but if I ever did, I'd surely start with CAN/AM series memorabilia.

This store is near me and is a really great place to waste a couple of hours: http://www.collectorstudio.com/index.cfm

They will commission large scale models of your supercar in your exact colour and spec, too. Pretty sure they will be doing the 12C, if they haven't already. Pricey though!!

I've got a bunch of McLaren team kit from the late 90's early 2000's. Their team shoes made by Alpine stars (2003/04) and Kimi's 2003 race suit. Also have Kimi's shirt with "Kimi" branding which he wore at races that banned tobacco "West" branding.

I've done business with Morry in the past. He's definitely got some nice hard to find stuff, but I remember his prices were definitely up there...

I pop by every once in a while, but when you reminded me about this a week or so ago I have become more of a frequent visitor :)
