So, are you working to get members 10% off of service costs as well, or just parts?

The club is brand new and we will always be working for towards better deals. Currently the base is 5% on parts, service and merchandise, but you can get more depending on your dealer relation. Only dealers listed on the website are currently supporting the club but we have reached out to other like McLaren SF. Also we are working on discounts on other items as noted on the club website.

Remember we are building this from the ground up. Anything we have now will only get better as we work with dealers and corporate. McLaren is a new brand and the club was created so in time we can grow with the brand to be on par with the other clubs. Now is the time to sign up and be a member to be a charter member and shape / grow the club.

Our goal is to make a active club doing events, drives, activities as well as other perks. So remember to sign up. But as with all clubs, it is only as good as the members willingness to participate.

As Adam mentioned above, we've been busy building support and pulling together the McLaren Car Club. We wanted to give everyone an update on where we are, what our next steps will be, and how we we hope you will help.

We now have 4 participating dealers:

McLaren Philadelphia -- http://www.rdsautomotivegroup.com/contact-us/mclaren-philadelphia/
McLaren Dallas -- http://www.parkplace.com/mclaren/dallas/
McLaren Boston -- http://www.mclarenboston.com/
McLaren Long Island -- http://www.mclarenlongisland.com/

These participating dealers will be offering 5% off of parts and service to club members, quarterly deals and incentives, and the potential to earn more rewards for participation at events.

In addition to the benefits with participating dealers, members also receive 10% off most items available from Winding Road Racing (http://www.windingroad.com/.

For an in depth description of the benefits offered to members, please click over to our updated website, http://www.mclarencc.org/club-benefits/

Membership has been growing over the last few months, but we do still have a handful of Charter Memberships available. These are available off of our sign-up page, http://mclarencc.org/catalog/index.php?route=product/category&path=61

For West Coast members, or those interested in becoming members, we have our first drive event, the Mammoth Road Tour. Adam ( @m3dragon ) will be leading this event. More information is available here: http://www.mclarenlife.com/forums/m...n-weekend-drive-sept-24-25-a.html#post1151369

We are continuing to engage with the other US dealerships, as well as other related and lifestyle companies to bring additional opportunities and savings to members. As we sign-on additional dealers and third parties we will update the benefits page linked above and our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/McLaren-Car-Club-436048729938274/). For existing members, these updates will also be sent out via our newsletter.

For those that do not see their dealer listed above, we would like to ask that you please reach out to them and ask that they join up with us. We have sent all US dealers information on the club, and we are happy to talk with them. Please ask that they e-mail us directly ( info@McLarencc.org ) and we will work to bring your dealer on board. If you would like additional information from us prior to reaching out, please use that same e-mail address, or PM Jamie ( @nh4 ) or Adam ( @m3dragon ).

We are also open to your ideas and suggestions of other brands / companies to reach out to. If you have suggestions here, please do not hesitate to contact us via the e-mail or PM addresses listed above.

Thank you!

-Jamie.

I just got a new 570S in the Dallas area, is this car club still active? Asking because I'm fairly new to the forum and have not seen an update here since the last post
We are still around! We've had a few setbacks over the year but we are hoping to keep pushing with the Owners' Club once we get through the holidays.

Anything going on in the DC mid-Atlantic area? Lost of mac owners in this region and dealer is trying to build some momentum.
One of the things we're going to be looking for after the holidays is help. If you're up for working on getting members and events together in that area, please PM me!

-Jamie.

I joined today with no issues. I bought a few cool items as well! Looking forward to receiving them (matching t-shirts for me and my 8yr old son who loves these cars as well).

Tried to join today...wouldn't allow me to upload the jpg w/ the VIN.
See the post three above yours. Email them and I’m sure it will get sorted. Good luck!

As Neil said, please shoot us a email and we will add you to the roster. We are working on some updates and changes.

Should I expect an email confirming my membership or should I assume it is good to go without any confirmation? Btw I had to email in as the site won't let me upload the Vin picture.
I should have been a bit more verbose in my e-mail to you on the 19th! You're all set! Sorry about that.
