Has anyone had any experience buying from McLaren Atlanta? (at Motorcars of Georgia location) I was told they've become a full/real McLaren dealer with service department just for McLaren customers... So that's great, but I haven't met anyone who bought one from them yet. I mean no offense - I am just excited to seemingly have a real dealer just 3 hours away from me... But if it's not a 100% real full service McLaren dealer, I should just buy from Philly

It definitely is, and I'd highly recommend them. Sprite (member here) has had them do services on his car. Contact Ed Bolian there...great sales guy. My GF bought a G63 from him and it couldn't have been easier.
Wonderful! Ed's name rings a bell. I think Aaron, a local car nut, has bought a few cars from him... has a 12c spider as well.

Anyway, thanks again for the info :)
THESE GUYS ARE WONDERFUL!! I bought my 12C and SLR Mclaren from them. I have sent them friends of mine who have also had similar experiences in buying exotic cars there. Brandon, Carson, Ed, and Bill are all top notch folks. The dealer is above and beyond the norm. They participate in local car shows, monthly and quarterly cruises.....heck they even got us a private premier to the Skyfall movie as they are an Aston Dealer!

A quick funny story of my first experience with Motorcars of GA.......the first time I went to Motorcars of GA my son and I were actually going to purchase a ZR-1 that same day from a local Chevrolet Dealer who had 11 leftover 2010 models in inventory. We arrive at the chevy store ready to buy, I'm wearing a ratty T-shirt and shorts with some old sneakers and my kid is not looking much better. The chevy guys wouldn't even let us sit in a ZR-1. My son suggested we go over to Lambo (motorcars of GA) as I was hot to buy something that day. We show up at MCOG and there sat a Black SLR Mclaren....I had been wanting one for a while. At first, no one would come and talk with us, the place is like a toy store and gets so many weekend tire kickers and photo opportunists. After a few minutes I walked over to Brandon and Carson (didn't know them at the time) and made them a buy it now offer which got their attention. After a few minutes of haggling we bought the car and a great relationship began. If those Chevy guys only knew.....lol

They also do alot of consignment and "other brand" exotics through used inventory. If you want to test drive a SLS, Aventador, Bentley, or other stuff that the local OEM dealer keeps behind ropes, go see the guys there at Motorcars.

Feel free to PM or call me if you have any questions.

Wow, what a glowing testimonial!!

Sounds like I should definitely go with them. Carsen has been very respectful to me the whole time, and I got the feel he's an enthusiast for sure. I'm excited to hear such great things about them in this thread.
I was looking at used 12C's a couple of months ago. As negotiations got underway, it was clear they couldn't touch the deals other McLaren dealers were offering (both on the 12C and my trade). I ended up buying from Park Place in Dallas. As far as service goes, it's been a little bit of a mixed bag for me. Luckily, I haven't had to have much done. I got the P13 update without incident. I also asked them to look at an issue I'd been having with the swipe doors (I have the double swipe problem others in this forum have mentioned). They investigated and determined this was "normal" since other cars on their lot did the same thing. At my next service, I'll push harder on getting that resolved. Anyway, certainly there's no question in my mind they are a full-fledged McLaren dealer and you shouldn't hesitate to put them in the mix as you are shopping around.

Thanks for the kind words and we appreciate your business! Keep in mind the 570's are right around the corner!!
I recently bought a 12C from McLaren Atlanta. Nothing but good words to say about the dealership, service, and care. Bart took good care of me. Everything was smooth. Love the car.

I hope you don't have Dallas doing service on your car! Two notorious cars couldn't get fixed in Dallas. Both are members here.

McLaren Atlanta when is that VP4 being delivered?
