The McLaren 765LT keeps on giving. I am still mitten by the competency and sheer thrill of driving of this car.

Put on some new TrofeoRs, Girodisc steel brake conversion and more gas, gas and gas (filling up after each session is one of the very few nits on the car).

Nice cars! And loving to see the 765lt doing exactly what it was created for.
Can I ask what pads are you using on the front girodisc setup? I am going to get a 765LTS and this will be my only mod besides PPF, still I havent seen any pads available for the senna/765lt calipers from girodisc.

my shop has installed my current girodisc setup on 720S's previously. a few of those owners I have spoken with really liked the setup, so I decided to give it a try.

I'd say the overall stopping power was very good. I did feel that at the limits when I started pushing a bit more, that the bite was surely less consistent than the OEM ceramics.

nice videos. That BS looks beefy.... very nice car
right? I haven't seen one in person before, but to see my friend tracking it was really nice. I may have regrets on not taking him up on his offer for me to drive it on track.

Looks like you had a great day, tanks for posting!(y)
cheers, nice community here and still new to McLaren brand.

I found this one Oasser on Amazon and I am loving it - set it to the desired PSI, hit GO and wait until it stops; very accurate to the 0.5 PSI. Downside is that it runs very hot, but I at least now you know. lol.

So do you know what pads you ended up with in the front? (Different faliper and pad vs 720s) I run giros on my 720s ans also considering moving them to my 765lts when it comes, just doing my homework for next year

I think these should be the part numbers below from the box:

GP40-1382.16 (front brake pads) - Sprint

GP40-1001.15 (rear brake pads) - Sprint

Hi sstho
Great video. Also thinking of changing to girodiscs like my gt2rs.
What brand brake pads are they? Were they cut specially for the front calipers?
Thanks

Girodisc rotors and pads, almost sure Endless pads rebranded Girodisc

Yah the rotors are the same as the 720, our p/n A1-206 and A2-159 but the front pad is from the Senna which ends up getting the 1382 shape. Below is a full breakdown of the p/n’s and pricing.

A1-206 - $1750
A2-159 - $1650

GP40-1382.16 - $590
GP20-4004.15 - $590
