Back in April when the "McMedics" were out here in SoCal I had them pull my ECU and install the M-Engineering re-flash in my 12C. All said and done, the power increase was very noticeable and kept a steady smile on my face while driving. A couple of days ago I was showing another owner the ability of the software to change tunes on the fly from Stock, to 91 Octane, 91 pops, to 93 to 100. All in all I was expecting 5 available settings but I discovered I only had 4 settings on the re-flash. I contacted M-Engineering and discovered that in fact I did not have a Factory Tune setting installed so that is why I was only able to cycle through 4 settings. Apparently we had a slight miscommunication on how many options I wanted. Jon over at M-Engineering was extremely helpful and the very next day he sent my an updated file to re-flash my ECU. The new file even had a Valet slot which brought my options up to 6. Using the M-Tuner Calibration Suite that came with my re-flash, I was able to connect to my OBD reader through the hardware included with the Calibration Suite and re-flash my ECU from my laptop. Could not have been easier! The instructions were easy to follow and within 15 minutes I had a completely new re-flashed tune exactly how I wanted it without having to pull the ECU again. I must say as an EE who also writes software I am very impressed with not only the engineering that went in to this product but also the great customer service. I thought it would be prudent to share my experience as we sometimes neglect to give a positive shout out when it is due. In this case it is definitely due! Thanks M-Engineering. Highly recommended. Keep up the great work......

@Dano

Thanks for sharing your experience! As a vendor of and working with @M-Engineering, I sometimes forget just how refreshing it is to be partnered with such an amazingly talented and wonderful team of software guru's.

M-engineering's "M-Logger" software is by far hands-down one of the simplest to use, and best thought-out pieces of software available to McLaren owners and enthusist to data-log or re-flash your ECM.

Although you asked me to help you to update your Map Switching Tunes that day, The software was so simple I only observed as you were able to navigate the menus and instructions effortlessly on your the first time ever using the software. Kudo's to M-Engineering for making it so straightforward!

And I think 15 minutes was actually incorrect. I bet you did it start to finish in 10 min. :cool:
