Looking for a mclaren savvy mechanic

I've been assembling parts for a McLaren P1 for many moons, and now have everything to build one from the ground up. Yes, it's a big pile of all the parts required to build an entire P1. No, I'm not Tavarish. Project will be done in Denver. Anyone happen to know anyone (mechanic wise) that might be willing to fly in for a week here/there to help us move the project along? This is of course a compensated thing and will pay for travel as well.

Damn that’s a lot of parts and ambitious.
Please update us with the process

Time to fire up the Gopro :)
I think @L.A.R. could also find it interesting.

are you looking for a mechanic to dedicate all of their time until this is complete. McMedics is awesome but they have a business dedicated to visiting many places over time.
This project sounds like op is looking for a partner knowledgable enough to complete this
maybe im wrong but that's my impression
You need a p1 certified tech with the proper tools . There’s a special computer/tool for the accumulators that are specific to ultimate series . Many indie techs do not have this or even have access to it . It might be something that you’d have to do a one off with someone else (this specific procedure )….

you don’t want to be an experiment or a learning experience for someone . These guys are also very busy and probably don’t want to leave their home location to do it .

if You want an indie then lar in Sf Bay Area or Daniel in Huntington Beach . Mike with lar has extensive p1 experience when he worked at Mac Sf and worked on my car . Daniel has extensive experience with p1’s when he worked at Mac Newport and I’ve used him for some significant work . I’d bring it to them vs. them
coming to you .

I recently met a p1 owner from your area who was telling me about your project (he’s a mutual acquaintance). I’m interested to see how this turns out .

I'm not saying neither myself nor Kevin are the definitive solution for that project, but a week here/there is gonna take a decade to get it done. Neither of us have logged P1 experience (yet) like some others who have insight into specific items but the basics are there. The tricky part is, are you willing to pay what that ability demands? I know to tie me up for a week, it's not a small number. I could make it elsewhere so it's gotta be worth it, and others will tell you the same.

So, when do we get a picture of what a deconstructed P1 looks like?
I just laughed at Sean’s new signature…

I am working with a very competent mechanic, but we don’t have the depth required for fully complete the project. We will need a Mclaren mechanic probably once a month for a week until complete.

I’m willing to pay for experience. I know it’s not cheap. Definitely open to chatting.
Can you take a photo of the mclaren in parts?

This may be a dumb question

what chassis are you using?

P1 monocage and P1 front/rear subframe. Had to purchase those. Some parts we had, see my other post about my P1 - validation prototype 4, like the drivetrain. Other parts we had to acquire. Painstakingly. Over many moons. The goal is to build a legitimate p1, with P1 parts.
We did consider a 12c monocell as the bottom half is the same, but you end up with something that doesn’t do the parts justice.
