Lewis Hamilton Still Driving a Lambo

Well , I love Mr Hamilton as he is a 'Real Racing Driver'. My definition of RRD is -they overtake in daring fashion at every opportunity and only want to win races.

However he turned up at my local (provincial) golf course last Saturday in a Yellow baby Lambo with Monaco plates on!

Now I respect Lewis's right to drive what he wants when he is not 'at work' but I am amazed he is not seen to be supporting the No 1 super car manufacturer in the World........OK soon to be No1.

Anybody got an insight as to why Lewis is not flouting his MP12?

Waiting for delivery? Having some bigger Turbo's fitted? Given it to his Dad?

ps Lewis if you want to drive Lambos when at leisure so be it but please keep driving Mclarens F1 at work......I know you read this forum and you call yourself S..na

6th. Your a very funny man. Lewis will see the funny side of that comment when he reads it!

By the way he always rides one of the electric carts when he plays. Last year just before Silverston GP he was playing in front of us......I've never seen anybody get so much speed out of a Golf Cart!.

Reminds me of his lap on Top Gear in the wet. I don't think he lifted once- just steered!

Big LH fan, here. Hoping he can resume his winning ways, soon.

Could be a number of factors,maybe he hasnt done enough free PR work for RON yet? Or Mclaren are sticking to their promise of nobody jumping the queue???But im sure he will be in his soon

Met him at the Spore GP and he mentioned his black McLaren was due for delivery a week after the GP. Perhaps its back in the factory for the upgrade or as 6th has suggested, the IRIS does not work yet.

I am sure I am in a small minority on this one, but I do think McLaren would be better off dropping Lewis and replacing him with a more mature more consistent younger driver. Paul Di Resta would be one good option.

Why would Mclaren want to run consistently 10th with Di Resta? ok just pulling your leg!

But with Hamilton you get a proven racer who will mature or stand still. Interesting comment by Alonso yesterday when he said Hamilton is one of a few drivers who can master different cars......maybe a wind up?

Fantastic race by Lewis - so nice to see him smiling again. Also a great performance by Jenson, considering the KERS problems. Hopefully McLaren can keep this momentum into 2012. How is the plan to kidnap Adrian Newey coming along?

Yes, Lewis does not need Iris to win but he misses Nicole!

I would miss Nicole!

Definitely a wind up. Something Alonso is a master of.

Think next year will be critical for LH. Either he matures and becomes one of the greats or he stays erratic and ends up as the next Kimi.

Kimi is a LEGEND! He won a title for Ferrari while hungover for every GP. Alonso has yet to give them one while sober!
