I have just recieved a letter from Mr Sheriff,which im sure most ot your will get in one form or another,thanking us for the continual feedback they recieve by letter ,personal meetings and forums.
The main crux of the letter was about the IRIS,and how they are working round the clock with no expense spared to get to there goal.They are currenly testing the lastest software on the development vehicles to eliminate any remaining bugs,and they they will have a full
rigorous testing shedule,but this is unlikly to conclude untill the third quarter of this year.

So there you have it August at the earliest.

Got mine just today. Nice to see they're letting us know, but I can't help shake the suspicion that they sent that in direct response to our thread here about how they need to keep us abreast of the IRIS situation.

I don't know why they don't just give us a basic sat nav and blue tooth to tie us over until this Iris is ready. I am getting tired of waiting, they seem to just keep delaying it. Like all things Mclaren they seem scared of drawing a line in the sand and saying thats it, finished, and let the knockers knock, they will anyway.

Just go & buy a TOM TOM i did its got blue tooth on it £100 does the job for the time being

I can see your point but I think Mcl need to deliver something special especially as Fezza's effort is ToysRus laughable.

As has been said elsewhere software development and delivery is a tortuous path.

I trust them to achieve something better than Fezza.

But I admit to harbour a certain prejudice.

Im not sure there was anything to address,sure there are some cars that have small problems,but mostly everyone is more than happy,and even though the detailers are never happy all of them have publicly said its streets ahead of the competiton.Its not Rolls or Bentley standard,but no-one ever expected it to be IMO
