I guess if that ended up being the SVJ/track version it would be fine for what it is. But the basic aventador (particularly the spider with its jewel like back glass) is very clean and tidy. No all amped on steroids with vents/wings, and I prefer that look. For those that like the track look, I guess they will like this. Too busy for my tastes, but it's not a bad direction. Will be interesting to see what the final base version will be. I'm excited for lambo and rooting for them that they will do a great job.

Yeah I generally ALWAYS prefer the undiluted original examples say Aventador/Huayra as opposed to SVJ/BC an exception would be 720S/765LT which is prettier to my mind.

Also it's good to root for mostly everyone as rivalry and competition benefits all. But, this is a special one so let's see! You remember Motortrend Bugatti Veyron versus Lamborghini Aventador? They should do round 2!

I think design wise Lamborghini can only do so much with an existing Aventador chassis... Just the A pillar is just unmistakable Aventador...

I believe the carbon fibre monocoque is brand spanking new as is well everything else.

I think the roof pillar and cockpit areas most likely same but carbon chassis extensions now vs aluminum ones in the aventador.... so I guess its new? you gotta love automotive marketing...

I'll take a look into it tomorrow. Very top tier hypercars I'm pretty OK on. The Lamborghini not so much.
