Has anyone done the Lake Michigan Circle Tour? Is it just scenic, with low speed through little towns, or is there some good twisties with room for spirited driving?
My son (races USF 2000) and I have 5 days in between race practices at la Crosse fairgrounds speedway and Blackhawk farms Raceway in South Beloit, and we want to do a road trip. Any other reccomendations welcome. Thanks!

I've driven the Michigan roads before. The only real twisty roads are near Traverse City. The rest of the roads are generally straight or moderate bends given the speed limits. They also all look like non freeway. So they're be slower roads. I think it'd be a nice convertible drive. Western Michigan along the coast had a lot of parks and small towns with beaches. It's very scenic. My wife and I used to do many drives along that coast when we lived over there.
