Here is the online version of a nifty article from C&D mag, which describes the basics of the hydraulic suspension system. Particularly interesting, in light of the CAR mag test, where the car was suffering from air entering the system. The diagram illustrates how this could, indeed, compromise the system at all four corners, as the hydraulic units are essentially interconnected.
