I've experienced that issue and found pushing the center button on the fob cured the problem.
Sounds like dodgy electronics creating interference. It'd be good for you to know which is doing it.For the last year or so I've been getting the "key not found" error on the dash when I go to start my car. It would often take 10 - 15 attempts to start the car before it would finally find the key and start. It was very frustrating. I had more than one mechanic tell me to put a new battery in the key fob. This did not help. The mechanics then told me that I probably got a bad battery and to try another key fob battery. After 3 or 4 key fob batteries didn't help, it was time to go in a different direction. About a month ago when I got in the car, I got the idea to unplug the dash camera, phone charger, and any other external device that used power from the car. This 100% solved the problem. Now when I park the car, I unplug everything before I shut it off and the next time I go to use the car, it ALWAYS finds the key and starts on the first try. I then plug the devices back in if I need them after I start the car. I don't know if this will work for anyone else, but it's worth a try.
I solved this problem by fitting time delay relay, basically you get into the car start the engine and then the power to the phone charger and accessories turns on, i set the timer on the relay to 20 seconds which is enough time from opening the door (thats when the trigger wire switches the relay on) to getting in letting the comfort entry setting do its thing and then start the car.We have a similar issue if I put my mobile phone in its holder before starting the car. Reverse the order and start the car before I put the phone in the holder and it works just fine.
Not sure if it’s the wired connection to the charging point or just the phone location causing the interference but it’s likely the same issue as yours.
I’ll have a play and see if I can find out which as it’s very repeatable, so would be interesting to know the underlying cause.
I did some experimenting today and found out that it's definitely the dash camera that is somehow interfering with the signal from the key fob.We have a similar issue if I put my mobile phone in its holder before starting the car. Never had a problem with the key not being recognised since.
This is what i purchased

Does it have WiFi or bluetooth? I guess that could cause interference.I did some experimenting today and found out that it's definitely the dash camera that is somehow interfering with the signal from the key fob.
I did a video on this. I had a smart mirror with an FM modulator in it, if the FM modulator was on I couldn't start the car. There is SOME interference, which shouldn't be operating on 433 Mhz. Your dashcam has some type of leaking signal causing the issue. If there is ANY type of broadcast on it, disable it. I'm guessing it's either got wifi or BT to download video from a phone app, disable it.For the last year or so I've been getting the "key not found" error on the dash when I go to start my car. I bought a 20pc pack for £10 as i was curious to see if i could eliminate intermittent interference on the front camera that i had fitted, the screen has lines and sometimes “snow”, i fitted 1 x small choke to the camera power cable and it improved it a little so i got the largest choke out of the set and S looped the wire 3 times together so the choke had encompassed over the width of the 3 cables. It is interesting to look at the RF genertated by 12v to USB adapters and other in car adapters. I have several and some are very poorly screened and the worst ones will stop commercial radio working when a USB cable (read aerial) is attached. So I would recommend getting some ferrite filters (like you might see on a laptop power supply) Like-these and it may resolve the issues.
