So I have been using my iPhone to play music in the car and this has been happening since day one, but now I am curious to see if I am the only one. During playback skipping songs seems to be iffy and in some instances you skip and the next song plays but you can't hear anything, this is fixed by unplugging and replugging the iPhone. So has anyone had zero issues with the iPod connector? It is also important to note that I have yet to receive any form of software update from my dealership if that's of any relevance.

Hi Mobious.
I would download all your music to a hard disc drive and play from there. The car reads everything easily. If you have the CD 's copy them all across to a hard drive using Microsoft lossless and the quality improves greatly. I have a 320 gb freecom unit that is connected using the usb socket and it holds much more than the IRIS unit will do when operational :)

I have mp3 on a hard disk and all the album art and such works great. Pretty slick for half an ICE system.

Well how do you setup the album art? is it like artist folder->Album Folder->Art or what?

^^^ Ummm, not sure. Just have the mp3 files loaded into random folders and the IRIS finds them all and categorizes them.

Thought I would give you all an update, as per recommendations I used a flash USB this time and it works like a charm, no skips, no freezes, and album art is showing. I would not recommend using your iPhones in the systems current state because it constantly hangs.
