I think this video will become a Classic as well!

A very nice perspective and it included commentary from extremely influential persons in the cars design and evolution.

The 12C, a real supercar, will become a classic, I'm sure of it.

Currently completely undervalued, this car has laid the foundation for the typical and so convincing McLaren DNA which makes every McLaren so unique compared to its competitors. You could feel the 12C in every McLaren.

Definitely undervalued for the car itself, but the worry for me about owing an aging McLaren is parts availability. If you compare to Porsche, for example (I know, it's not really a like-for-like comparison), in most cases you can still get original Porsche parts for older cars, and the aftermarket is huge.

I'll admit when I first saw the MP4 I wasn't impressed much by its super fluid lines and design by computer looks as I was still in my Italian angular cut and in your face styling phase but that aesthetic gets old fast.

As I drove the MP4 and learned the functions and all the technology McLaren put in it, I loved it more and more and grew to love the looks too, finding it a much more lasting design than the trend of the time.

It is a groundbreaking car that is definitely underappreciated in its time. But Jay Leno loves it and he knows what he's talking about.

I said it before and I’ll say it again , there is no super car in this price range come with monocoque carbon chassis and ability to control suspension and powertrain separately..
And My personal favorite the BRAKE STEERING .

Looking at the increase in price for the MP4-12C lately, I see that as an indication of a collectable and a classic car. When it came out it was a head of time in both design and function, Love the car and I am still learning and still seeking knowledge about my car. Not knowing is one of the reasons I bought my car. I want to learn and want to challenge my self in different ways than my other classic cars. But living in Norway has its challenges since there are no one else seeking the same type of knowledge as I do. No McLaren club, no McLaren dealer, no McLaren workshop and nearly impossible to contact anybody owning this brand of car. Luckily I found this forum and a few youtube videos that got me intouch with McMedics, so now I know a bit more, and I can do basic stuff my self. Quiet frankly the brand has an unfair reputation, comparing McLaren with Ferrari and Lamoborghini, I realised they are not that different in maintenance cost and reliability. So cheers to us whom dear to be different!

Nice ride. There are several good workshops in Sweden that can do McLaren at fair price . Welcome to South of Sweden.
