I'll admit when I first saw the MP4 I wasn't impressed much by its super fluid lines and design by computer looks as I was still in my Italian angular cut and in your face styling phase but that aesthetic gets old fast.
As I drove the MP4 and learned the functions and all the technology McLaren put in it, I loved it more and more and grew to love the looks too, finding it a much more lasting design than the trend of the time.
It is a groundbreaking car that is definitely underappreciated in its time. But Jay Leno loves it and he knows what he's talking about.
