How to use Launch Control?

My understanding is that you shouldn't use launch control until everything is warmed up on your mini car indicator on the dash (all green). Also, do not use launch control until after 600 mile run in period per manufacturer recommendation.

That said, using launch control is fairly simple. I dont know of the raw requirements but this is how I do it.

1. Make aure car is warmed up
2. Set active mode and track for both suspension and power train
3. Find a place to come to a complete stop
4. Switch feet to left foot on brake
5. Press launch button and look for "ready" message lower left of dash
6. Fully depress accelerator and hold
7. Once dash message says "boost ready" or equivalent language, release brake and hold gas
8. Car will shift for you during launch sequence for optimal acceleration. (As if in automatic)

Final comment, you can be in active and track settings but still let the car auto shift by keeping the manual button in off mode.

Auto start stop had me thinking I broke the car the first time I drove without the dealer because he always turned it off and never told me he was.
The only addition to this would be between 4 & 5 is select 1st gear.
