Visitor messages are not PRIVATE messages. You have confused the two. Messages left on ones profile page are VISITOR messages not PRIVATE messages. robby left you a visitor message and you replied to his visitor message.

It is totally false. One's user profile and the message left there, visitor messages, are 100% open to the public, whereas private message 100% are not.

Sending you a PM regarding this. Sorry for any confusion around private messages vs visitor messages left on a profile page. We can remove the visitor messages if you would like that to no longer be on your profile page (you also have this option).

Rest assured, private messages always remain private.

Rare - your response is a aggressive, unwarranted and there was no need to shout.

RWD has explained things in a much less inflammatory way via PM, to which I have responded and thanked him for his assistance.

I am sure I am not the only person who hasn’t realised that there were two types of messages, visitor and PM or that one was public and the other private.

Now that I am, I will be careful how I conduct my business in future.
