Yep. All software is beta.
Yep. All software is beta.Sadly, WE the customers, are the beta test sites ..... companies stopped doing extensive beta testing years ago!
.... it is only a 'track car' for 'parade laps' ..... too much overheating and 'front underbody panel' damage! The upside is that you get a window that is tightly sealed underneath a solid seal when you're hurtling down a track with your hair on fire.
Mine's fine on track, even at COTA which is a big test for the car. That was a hot day, too, and I did at least 5 hours of actual track time. Everyone else was fine that day, too, with one exception which I think was a hose clamp problem, and the 765 which stopped on track and was running again later..... it is only a 'track car' for 'parade laps' ..... too much overheating and 'front underbody panel' damage!

Those are fighting words you bigot …. I’ll be back to punish you, as soon as I can figure out this sports bra!Maybe you need to fix your car.... 😁
Seriously, one of the reasons I chose to run COTA in November was because I thought it would be cooler, but it turned out to be a scorcher. I was expecting to see the car run hot, but it never did. It was the same for the last track day I did, I thought it would be cool in March, but once the sun got up it got really hot again, but the car didn't miss a beat. That track was mickey mouse compared to COTA though, piece of cake for these cars. Those are fighting words you bigot …. I’ll be back to punish you, as soon as I can figure out this sports bra!

That was H2R, yeah? I flew out there and did some guest coaching on a GSX-R1000 back in like 2008-2009.Seriously, one of the reasons I chose to run COTA in November was because I thought it would be cooler, but it turned out to be a scorcher. I don't know what H2R is, it was Motorsport Ranch. Max speed there is about 130 for me.That was H2R, yeah? I flew out there and did some guest coaching on a GSX-R1000 back in like 2008-2009.
The only reason i mention overheating, is based on the numerous posts on this forum, complaining about the issue!Seriously, one of the reasons I chose to run COTA in November was because I thought it would be cooler, but it turned out to be a scorcher. Porsche does this‘Again, noting stops them from having a setting for that app that asks you to opt in to data collection like apple does. If we don’t ask for that, the odds of us getting it go down.
Btw does the artura have some license agreement?
It's strange that some cars seem to have more of a problem than others. That back straight at COTA is pretty long, and I was flat all the way down it lap after lap, usually hitting the anchors at about 165.The only reason i mention overheating, is based on the numerous posts on this forum, complaining about the issue!
The only time my car gets to 215F, is when i do multiple consecutive rips to 200 mph.
Monticello is a touch over 4 miles long and the long straight you hit 165-170ish. Didnt have overheat problem but I ran only 20-30min sessions. But I think the more track oriented folks probably run more intense sessions. It's strange that some cars seem to have more of a problem than others. Yes, it's documented that letting it sit for an hour will fully discharge the car. Using a method to accelerate it would accomplish the same. However, if you pull the ground things may not work at all so doing something like pushing the brake pedal won't drain it at all, as it won't try to operate. Disconnecting the BMS just makes the car rethinking what power it's actually getting.Question for you @EMF Audio (McMedics) in regards to pulling the battery terminal or BMS. I know on some other cars, even once you pull the terminal there is still some juice left that can retain info/codes, so we always used to press the brake pedal until the lights didn’t work anymore, and that would usually show us the whole system was dead. Is that the case with McLaren?
You may be smarter than you look!I'm still thinking battery.
I sound smarter than I am too. On account of the Mississippi accent. You may be smarter than you look!
I took the car for a 300 mile drive today and it performed flawlessly.
