I have tackled the option list this weekend and my head is spinning. I want to add everything but I know that it will do nothing for the resale.

What have people gone for so far?

Whats the most popular colour? is Carbon ceramic worth it? is carbon fibre worth it? are the super lightweight wheels worth it? Sports exhaust?

Perhaps posters can add the spec they have gone for in their footer (a bit like they do in PC forums)

these are my opinons
iris a must
interior carbon and exterior are for personnal preference with no real weight saving gain,a small amount will help to set your car apart.
sports exhaust,depends if your going to use the car!,the standard exhaust is now fantastic,for DD,and the odd track day,i think in the long run its the best choice (at least for me).
carbo brakes,the standard are better than anything on the market,unless you want to do lots of long track days (even then some people prefer standard).
std seats against electic,purly personal,but both are just as supportive.
wheels are what you like the look of,i dought if a standard driver would know the difference between the lightweight and superLW, i think lightweight with standard brakes are similar in weight to supers with ceramics,as the ceramics are heavier due to more brake cooling equipment needed,anyway too near to notice.
you will be able to get a good spec easily under £200k,the rest is just personnal choice,and 90% of which will not improve the performance of the car

JUST GET WHAT YOU WANT THATS THE BEST THING TO DO ! ! ! ( have fun )

The carbon fibre extras are where it starts getting pricey. I went for CF interior, so then felt like I needed CF seat (power). Then, after seeing the cars the Manchester I decided on CF sills and wheel arches to match up with the rest of the interior. however, when I compared a CF engine trim unit with non-CF, i opted for the standard because it matches up with the flat black louvers behind the engine bay whereas the CF bits 'jarred' with the louvers. Of course all this is purely personal, and one of the best parts of buying this car is the endless hours you can spend configuring hundreds of cars! I finally settled on volcano orange after initially going for azure blue, but take a look at that carbon black with red calipers- ooooooh!

In my opinion, after purchasing far too many new performance cars you have to spec it so you will love it! Colour is critical for me, it has to stand the test of time and suit the the body architecture, ie accentuate the lines and hide the bulk.

For residual value the carbon items will loose their value in my opinion, but if carbon tickles your fancy then carbon it must be. Remember the carbon items are mostly add on or embellishments so save no weight.....for example the carbon seat backs are planted on the standard seat so add weight at some ridiculous cost and cannot be seen easily.....

It's essential to have Iris, leather or Alcantara and in the UK a tracker to get Insurance although trackers are a waste of time and cost......arguments welcome.

I am concerned that the two colour interiors will reflect intrusively in the screen and be an irritant.

What exterior colour are you leaning towards? If you know, then I can tell you what I would do with it and find relevant pictures for you. Otherwise there are too many variables to make a meaningful recommendation. Cheers.
