There are no known issues that I am aware of. From what I have been told, the GT is apparently their most reliable and well sorted offering to date. I can tell you that my particular GT is built an order of magnitude better than what I have come to expect from the brand. She has also proven trouble free since purchasing her a year and 3K miles ago.
I got back into Mclaren because I never found another car I enjoyed driving as much as my 12C. For me, the GT offers much of the subdued elegance and performance of that model with a nice dollop of luxury, increased convenience and reliability.
