So my 12C Spider gas flap won't lock. No sound from the actuator when you cycle the locks. It will click shut and press to click open so no problem with the latch but it won't lock, just a constant state of unlocked.
Over the last few months the actuator was getting louder and louder and often popping the flap open when I unlocked the car. But nothing now.
I looked down the hole where the pin resides and not sure if the pin has fallen out somehow.
Maybe someone could reply with a picture of their flap open and the pin in place?
Obviously, I'd rather have it in a state of unlock rather than being stranded at a gas station but any feedback welcome such as a blown fuse or missing pin etc. as my 12C has been super reliable and I just like things to be correct.

Could it be the pin isn't lining up with the hole in the lid? See if you can see any evidence of the pin striking the lid.
