Anybody tracked their 12c yet? I have my first track day coming up next month. Any pointers or recommendations? Tire pressures, etc...

Moncho
My car arrives this Friday, and I have a track day booked at TSW on April 1st via the super secret 701 club, plus the Big Bend Open Road Race at the end of April. It will be interesting to get your thoughts on the capabilities - I get the feeling it is not an immediately intuitive car to drive on the track.

Cool. I am going to be a TWS and was wondering. I am not a fan of MSR - Houston.

ECR is AWESOME!!! Just make sure you are prepared for brake wear. I would consider having a spare set of brake pads.

I was at a trackday couple of weeks ago, with tinseau, at le mans.
there were two Mclarens, (one from monaco, brand new, not even registered yet and really pushing...not very clever owner). they looked really fast on the straight especially in the morning with a wet track. the noise gave this impression of strength but was a bit disappointing. nothing like the racey scream of a GT3RS. more like a merc or a corvette, but quieter.
then the track dried. the other mclaren (the quickest of the two) was lapping in 1.53 - 1.52 , closely followed by a one-11. the lotus was slower in the straight, but always on its tail at the end of the lap.

Does anyone know how to deactivate the parking break? Whenever I turn off the car and I open the door, the hand break comes on. That's nice around town, not on a track.
Not found out if its possible,i never put the brake on when i leave it in the garage, especially if its been raining and having std rotors,so far nothing in the manual

Andy. Why does the hand break come on for maxendaddy but not for you when you park up? Like you I would always leave it off but with all this electronic stuff, it's not so easy to just leave it off... Handbreak never used on my e-type, which would seize if left on too long.....:)

What i meant to say was i HAVE never left on the brake ,but on he 12c you have no choice. It does say in the manual not to leave obstructions as it will effect the operation of the brake (not advising this of course). But what is the use of it anyway apart from i assume hill hold(unless thats partly the gearbox??)
Can someone more technical explain please? Why have a lever when it has a mind of its own?The only time i can turn it off without it doing it its self is if you havent got your seatbelt on!
