I did not notice that there were straps for an extinguisher till I got the car home. Turns out the my $412,000 car did not come with one, it is a $300 option. I am looking for one online that is not too tall or it will hit the bottom of the hood, so far I can't find one.

 

I think all the OEM's use the same Gloria GmbH extinguisher

Dry-powder extinguisher in a car is one of the dumbest ideas ever.

 

you will have to buy it in the state. US custom will reject all external shipment.

No, not a lot which will burn in the front. Fire will usually develop around the engine (and McLs arent that prone to it, the extinguisher is there to help your Lambo and Ferrari friends).
