Collected Saturday, a couple of phone images attached. Initial thoughts :
Likes: The way the car goes, steers, stops, looks - all breathtaking.
Dislikes: Door opening(what's the point?), door closing (slamming), radio (I know it will be fixed but in the meantime they appear to have fitted the receiver from a child's toy), stone chips on vanes (paintshiled was supposed to be fitted prior to collection but the dealer made a cock up...), reflection in windscreen (completely my fault (tan leather) but I'm not sure that I can ignore it...I'll need to come up with a remedy)

So far have done 300 odd miles, but at an average speed of 33 mph... (bank holiday weekend traffic on way to Norfolk) so had plenty of time to get used to the interior and to prod all the various buttons. On balance, I love the car and most of my niggles can be fixed (all thoughts on windscreen reflection fixes gratefully received...)

I'll get some better photos at the weekend and post some more thoughts

Like the colour; do you Chris now you have been on the street?

Is the plate 12, wow, very unusual. Wonder what Ron would offer?

Venture Shield is a must as I keep removing a collection of stones from the bottom of the vanes.

Regarding the reflection, that's a tough one. The only way to ignore is drive very fast which makes you focus far ahead of the screen. As a last resort, re-trim the dash in Black

Love the colour, no regrets. I'll send some better photos with the car outside.

Ignore the plate, I scrubbed off the other lettering (whether it matters or not I don't know, but I had read somewhere that it was a sensible thing to do...)

I agree on the shield, that's why it was arranged and paid for.....choice was to take the car on Saturday or leave until this week and get the coating applied. The Saturday date had been arranged for a few weeks and and on Thursday the dealer told me that they were late (it was a dealer issue, the car was ready at the factory...) and so they could not get the film applied. I decided to risk it (I couldn't handle the disappointment and had arranged to take the car away for the weekend) and they are fitting the film next week (no significant chips but the paint has obviously been weathered)

Thanks for the sunglasses suggestion, not much chance to wear sunglasses over the weekend...The problem door is the passenger side, just gets annoying when an excited passenger climbs in and you then spend the next five minutes slamming the door harder and harder....

The Norfolk roads were a great demonstration of the chassis suppleness - I used to have a GT3 and would have disappeared through the nearest hedge trying to keep up.

Also having to get used to all the attention, if some people think that this car is plain looking they obviously haven't tried owning one.

Chris, as Andy has mentioned before, if you nearly close the door then 'slam' it over the last tiny opening it is can easier!

My doors were rehung by Mac London and problems eliminated.

Looking back after a couple of weeks of ownership, I'm pleased to say that all the earlier niggles that I had have been sorted. Paintshield all now in place and so gravel anxiety has gone and big thanks for the sunglasses tip (reflection completely disappears).

It is certainly fast....wow, is it fast!

Driving back from work last night I couldn't work out what a transit van was doing in the middle of the road waving traffic past, as I approached the passenger leant right out of the window (to his waist) with his camera phone and took a shot accompanied with a thumbs up. A first for me!

Message to the 'powers that be' please can be upgraded to 'owner' :)

A few more shots -
