I'd generally agree - I was just tossing out another $1M car with insane specs, regardless of how it comes about.
The Enzo 1min 24.9 sec. The Ferrari 458 Italia 1min 25 sec at Fiorano. Pretty much as the differens btw Ferrari vs Ferrari and the Aventador at Dunsfold. The new F70 better be MUCH faster than the Aventador! Why? Because is going to cost around 1.5 million U$! "Jesus" if Ferrari F70 does not improve the Aventador lap times with more than let's say 1 sec/lap then it's just nothing to have! The F70 should set the bench mark just as the 458 Italia did over the 430 otherwise it's just not worth the money! Let's hope they manage it, because that would put the pressure on the McLaren boys, and we who are the buyers of these cars get's better products! Waiting for my MP4-12C next year! GOOD GOD i wish i could afford the new P799 MAC

I'm really keen towards knowing more about the forthcoming P13 ("911 competitor") as well as seeing it's design/form. It seems that it'll also be a carbon monocoque (mono-cell), mid-engine, and have the dihedral doors - all McLaren hallmarks.

The prospect of a high-performance exotic sports-car w/ all those attributes, but at the price strata of seemingly ubiquitous high-performance luxury GT sports-cars/sports-coupes (ie. MB AMG SL's, BMW M6 Alpina, Ferrari California GT, Maserati GranTurismo, Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Bentley Continental GT, etc) excites me incredibly!
I'd guess something in the $100-$150K US range.
