I tuned in F1 today to watch a race but instead saw high priced SCCA Autocross. Adrian Newey (true genius that he is) has figured out it is a waste of time/money to design a racing car. What you design is a car that runs well in clean air on a dry track and you hire a good time trials driver (Vettel). Then, you qualify first, get out front at the start on Sunday and you never have to race with anyone. That way you never have to worry about dealing with true racers like Fernando, Lewis and Kimi.
Proof of Adrian's strategy is demonstrated when it rains. The RBRs just become another car and the real racers compete against each other for the win.
Bernie talked about installing equipment at some of the tracks to simulate rainfall during the race. Maybe he should consider that for India.
