I've been driving a 720s for month now and I gotta say I love the thing. However, I've noticed that I bought the car with worn out rear tyres and when accelerating while ESC ON the mid range lag is huge. When I put ESC in DYN the lag was still there but smaller. I tried ESC OFF and the lag was pretty much gone. Does anybody feel the need to turn ESC completely off to enjoy this thing without lag or is there a sweet setting for traction paired with proper tyres?
I would never go for ESC Off on the road.
Indeed: on track, with some good heat in the tires and Track modus ESC Dyn is getting very close to max performance.
I’m only having a few years of track/race experience now, so I’m certainly not a pro-driver. But I can’t better the ESC when it comes to raw lap times... Tis is pretty high performance stuff.
I live at a tiny country. I drive the car on bad roads 70% of the time. Traction control never let's me go fast or rev the car properly in this place 😂. There are also no tracks I can time my car to.
