My car has been back with Mclaren for some fix's and learnt today that a new map is currently under test and will be downloaded when Doris is installed........guess that saves on costs.

The map cures, amongst other issues, low speed crawl against brakes, gear selection when changing down 2nd to 3rd and flooring the throttle.........currently the wrong gear can be selected and/or there are two dead throttle moments before the catapult kicks in.

Heating temperature, a software issue, is also being addressed together with poor reception on Sky Sports Channel for those who subscribe......no just dreaming there.

So Mclaren are listening and, more importantly, taking appropriate action.

Good news in my book, or car.

Yes, they said that to me as well............ separate traction control form suspension settings, no not enough switches, a 50 mpg map for cruising on Tour, no,........aw give up then. You will like it they said.

After burner if the airbrake isnt enough to put off tailgaters ?? the 75hp boost on the HS model??
