Hello everyone! Thanks for welcoming us here!

Dyno Spectrum is the brain child of a team of lifelong aftermarket calibration, software, hardware, and reverse engineers. With countless individual and collaborative successes under our belts in the realms of drag racing, half mile, hill climbs, and circuit racing we knew we would be able to come into the McLaren market and have an immediate impact on this very promising platform by supplying calibrations for all Sport and Super Series McLaren models including the 720S! Most recently we supplied the calibration to help EKanoo Racing run a 9.53 @ 146.65mph and break the world's fastest and quickest 720S record, on pump gas, no bolt-ons, and with only a Dyno Spectrum calibration and some great preparation and driving on their part. Although Dyno Spectrum is newly formed in name, we have been part of the aftermarket industry in excess of 15 years working for or consulting with other companies. Many of you who have come from the GTR or Porsche world may already be familiar with us via our work at other world-renowned tuning companies over the years and commitment to customer service and satisfaction. This long history of reverse engineering, calibration, software, and hardware development has supplied us with the means and understanding to quickly come in and make an impact.

Dyno Spectrum is headed up by Mitch Mckee, Joe Graham, and Jon Hebbeln and is a division of M-Engineering, a reverse engineering consultation company. All of our reverse engineering is done in house which allows us the capability to quickly and precisely make calibrations that not only make power, but also maintain factory drivability. It also allows us the opportunities to inject our own custom code for features to be revealed at a later date. In the past members of our team have been solely responsible for being the first to crack into the SDI10.2 DME, 997.2/987.2 Porsche PDK TCU, 991.1/981.1 Porsche PDK TCU, 991.2/718 Porsche PDK TCU, and the R35 GTR TCU.

Our team of reverse engineers affords us the ability to create custom features and hardware otherwise not seen outside of the OEM realm. We have already used our 570S to engineer a set of features that include, but are not limited to: Enabling/Disabling dyno mode for easy use on unlinked or 2WD dynos, the capability to read and clear faults in modules, but most importantly, a built from scratch datalogging utility with customizable parameters. All these features, and more, we expect to release in a hardware package in the future that will allow end users the luxury of using it in their own home.

Datalogging is a vital part of the engine calibration process, otherwise you are just stabbing in the dark, crossing your fingers, and hoping the changes you've made will make a positive impact without damaging the engine. Being the only company, to our knowledge, that is developing calibrations in the McLaren market based off of essential sensor feedback and internal DME calculations via custom datalogging, is what sets us apart.

From a calibration standpoint, all of our engine calibrations are created in-house by our two engine calibrators. Both have had their calibrations on vehicles that have gone on to win IMSA championships, set Pikes Peak Hill Climb class records, One Lap of America wins, Super Lap Battle, Time Attack, and various drag racing records on multiple platforms throughout the years. Both calibrators are also responsible for spearheading, creating, and supporting over 8000 engine and transmission calibrations for 25 different Porsche makes and models at one of the world's largest aftermarket calibration companies. That initiative ultimately brought the Porsche platform out of the dark ages of tuning and changed the way the Porsche performance aftermarket operates as a whole.

Word of mouth has been our sole means of advertising thus far, which has worked great, however the outstanding feedback we have received from every one of our clients has inspired and motivated us to take it to the next level and start advertising on a larger platform. We appreciate McLaren Life's help in facilitating that and we look forward to making friends and happy clients out of many of you in the future. Expect to see more content coming from us here as well as on our Instagram, @dyno_spectrum. Forgive our website being down for maintenance, we are working on a revamp currently to handle the influx of inquires we've had due to recent successes. If you'd like to inquire about our services or simply have a question please feel free to send us a private message and we will promptly reply.

Thanks again everyone!

Mitch, Joe, & Jon

Thanks, happy to be here!

TCU Flashing is something that we have discussed, and may possibly tackle in the future. But for now our main focus is on engine calibration. It is nice to know there is demand for TCU flashing! Customer demand and requests have a very high bearing on future projects.

Welcome to the forum
What does your tuning run and what is turn around time?
Good question,

McLaren Sport and Super Series (Non-720S) - $2,999 USD
- Turn around time of ~3days

McLaren 720S - $5,499 USD
- Turn around time of ~5days

The shipping time of the DME is generally the majority of the downtime. If you are near Southern California we can work with you to limit possible downtime.

Please let us know if you have any questions!

On a side note we are actively working on hardware that will allow end users to read codes, clear codes, clear faults in modules, enable dyno mode, and possibly more features to be determined. We are still in development stages with the device but when it goes to market we will offer 30% off to all who have purchased our calibrations prior to the hardware release day!
