Check out the floors at a newer high end dealership. It will be a monolithic porcelain tile. Chips don’t show that much since the color is throughout or a single tile can be replaced for an exact match. A lot of choices for colors, patterns, textures and sizes too.

I decided to go with Epoxy. I decided to forgo the common colored flakes to give it a smooth shinny appearance. While the floor turned out great, not perfect but most of it I would only be the one to notice.

I wouldn’t skip the flakes in an epoxy floor since they help conceal imperfections in the slab.

You are going to be north of $250K if you want to do it really nice.

I got a price last month for a 675 sf barebones insulated garage with a mini-split ac for just over $250,000. Before Covid I could buy a new 3 bedroom house for that. Talk to some contractors to get an idea of costs and time frame before getting plans drawn up.
