I was going to forgo Senna seats in my upcoming 765 LT Spider build and get comfort seats cause frankly they are easier to get in and out of.

But having now seen enough pictures and renderings of Senna seats- I cant do it. My brain says comfort seats but my dick says Senna seats.

Since my dick has never led me astray before :) - we are going with Senna seats. But does anyone regret going this route and wish you had been more practical? Im not a track junkie and doubt my car will ever see the track. ITs more for my personal use. Thoughts?

Maybe it's the method some are using to get in and out of the car, but the Senna's really aren't that big of a deal to me at all, even with the regular/thicker pads (I'm a lean 185lbs).

I swing my left leg out first, then basically do a one arm dip by putting my left hand on the sill and push up as I get out. Not a big deal at all.

Getting in is just the opposite.

I might feel different if I DD'd the car, but I don't think so.

Interesting thought on seats. Wife opted for P1 seats, so went this way. When I was heavier, the Senna seats restricted my shoulders a bit much more than I wanted for 80% street usage. When I sat in the Senna touring seats when picking up 765LT last week, I fit in well.

No regrets on P1 seats. I already worry about the harness hitting the interior CF door sill and center console. Would be that much tougher with Senna seats' CF exposure.

We are really talking about a seat. Each person has a different use case for the car and each person has different preferences. You may like caviar, someone else iberico bellota and another Kobe A5,... they are all great. Glad McLaren has amazing options to choose from.

One item to note, in P1 seats - we can raise or lower the seat with 3 settings, but CANNOT tilt. Fortunately, we like the angle of the P1 seat.

Has anyone ever tried Senna seats in a 720 Spider? Was thinking about speccing a 765lt spider with Senna seats but I would imagine will get even harder in and out with the top closed.
I'm 6'4 and a bit worried I would regret speccing them because the shape of the seats look like it might be a back-breaker option..

Uh wait what? I traded touring pads for regular pads and never noticed the pads were anything more than one piece/thickness per pad when installing them. Maybe I’m blind lol? If that’s the case, why would anyone buy touring pads? Just buy the regular pads and you can configure how you want.

Off to check on my Senna seat pads now…

Hi folks, I have a 720S with the stock motorized adjustable seats which fit me fine. But... no room for a helmet. I need to get lower in the car. Closer to the floor. I am 6'4" and have a tall back, and neck, wondering if Senna seats are more suited for tall folks, or if they are made for shorter people as I find the 675 carbon fiber buckets are. (I bought a 675 CF seat set. anyone want them? I cannot use them) Check this video if you have Senna seats and might be able to help me out with a quick 2-minute measurement, please? Thanks in advance.

Also, if someone is in the SF Bay Area in California and has a 720S coupe with Senna seats, please LMK and I will come to you, if you don't mind me trying sitting in them, please.

Senna seats are definitely going to be setup for whoever set them up if they aren't in standard position. There is some play in them, and the seat has to be removed to adjust that.

I'm 6'3". Set at full tilt, I have plenty of headroom and extra legroom, but my legs are long. The critical thing to understand is that the position and comfort with the sport seats is that it's all about the positioning on the rails. I find the Senna seat more comfortable than the P1. However, if they're not tilted I struggle with them. I don't have my car so can't measure, but properly adjusted you'll have more headroom than with comfort seats.
