Dalton (@March_MotorsportsDFW ) re-coded my car for manual seats and cleared the airbag fault using Diagcode. It's pretty much as functional as the official McLaren tooling. First time I've seen it in action and it looked good to me.

single vin is useless. most of us change cars too often to make it worthwhile or helping a non mechanically inclined friend is always a good thing,and some have more than 1 mac.
would pay $2k+ and small yearly ($100 to 200) sub to keep it going but above that,dealer is not much more expensive for a simple maintenance light reset.
Autel gets us there most of the way but have read on here that autel requires a yearly sub. ? nothing on their site about this that i could find.

Yeah, the VW tool comes with 10 VINs, which would be fine for most I think.

People have complained about their prices for years. They have another thread. They don't seem interested in budging. The people with it seem happy with the product though. I considered it and it's just too much to even consider. Maybe if I ever stop warranty and servicing at the dealer.

Yeah, that's where I am too. At the current price, it only makes sense if you're running without a warranty.

So you lose the ability to reset the service light and adapt modules...ok ill keep looking. As other have said you are missing the mark here.
