Im sure they will come up with something similar,as the first service is at 10k miles or annually and that seems to be a check over and oil and filter.The first big service is at 20k miles or 2 years,and a great excuse for a road trip!!!
Dealer service for long distance owners?
Just would like to know what owners and perspective owners that live a long distance from their dealer have been told / experienced regarding routine maintenance like oil changes, routine checks based on the maintenance schedule etc. I am seriously considering getting a 12C and know from some Ferrari / Lambo owners that had a tech come once or twice a year to the city to do such things before dealerships were opened here. I live in Calgary which 6E you know is about 2700 kilometres from Toronto.

I suspect it will be cheaper to trade the car in for a new one. You have to be practical when living in the Boon Docks ( is that how you spell it?).

LOL! Actually RIC Calgary is a very modern city with almost as many head offices as Toronto, and there is a lot of oil money here its just that McLaren has only chosen 1 dealer for all of Canada for now. I suspect the next one may open in Vancouver British Columbia which is about an 8 hour drive or so if you drive the speed limit. Besides William and Kate were here last year for a visit during the Calgary Stampede (a big 10 day party) and they really enjoyed themselves!I suspect it will be cheaper to trade the car in for a new one. When I was spending most of my time in Spain/Portugal, I still used to ship my cars back to the UK for service. Never had an issue doing it, just involved a bit of advance planning.
