I keep my car plugged into my CTEK charger all the time when not driving, LED lights showed that it was fully charged and was in the maintenance cycle - opened the door this morning and car was showing critical battery alert and 0 days charge 
This is the model I use, had it since late last year when my OEM McLaren charger gave up. Its been working fine and charging the car OK for months now so not sure what's going on. Have unplugged it from the wall socket and reattached it to the car, but think I need to change to something more reliable.
So question, is this CTEK charger appropriate for McLarens (I got it after looking at recommendations from threads on this forum), and what other brand / model is recommended if CTEK isn't what I should be using?
