I went for a total stealth look in configuring my graphite grey 12C (except for the orange calipers :D). So I didn't like the intrusion of the plastic chrome license plate frame installed by my dealer.

I found a high quality carbon fiber frame on Amazon. The overlay is real carbon fiber on a plastic frame. The pattern is not exactly the same as the rear diffiuser, but close. Here's a pic. Note that the "waviness" on the bottom portion of the frame is just reflections - the frame is flat and smooth and the fiber pattern is uniform.

The price was about $42. Here's the link

I have 5 of these and like them. I found that it was better to use little strips of double sided sticky tape and glue the frame to the plate and then screw them on the car with the top two screws. It keeps things nice and secure.
