So I'm penciled in for the Pure McLaren driving program a couple days after the GP and was thinking I'd try to catch the race, too, if it wasn't terribly inconvenient. Where is Silverstone in relation to London and is getting too and from the race a PITA? Perhaps more importantly, is getting an admission ticket realistic? Thanks.

I'd highly recommend booking seats in the Club grandstand as you get a great view of the pits, start / finish line and the cars exiting Stowe, through the Vale chicane and then accelerating through Club before entering the International pits straight.

My family and I did this for all 3 days last year and have re-booked for 2012. Just hoping for decent weather this year as it was very cold last year!

It will be great to hear the F1 cars without the awful sound caused by blown diffusers again!

Bought tickets for the CLUB A grandstand, as they were the best I could find now. I think that is the uncovered part, so I hope it stays dry. Anybody ever take the bus service offered on bookF1? Wondering if it is decent, or will it be a hooligan fest, particularly on the ride home.
