Has anyone successfully used a heat-resistant 'restorer' for black plastic pieces that you wanted to refurbish?

This is for my 12C. The black plastic 'grill' that sits above the transmission & exhaust on the rear of the car ... doesn't look bad, but just slightly faded from weather and heat.

22ple makes a plastic and trim restorer coating that I have always had great luck and success with. I'm sure others will chime in with other products they have used as well.

I was looking at CERAKOTE plastic trim restorer. Comes in wipes.
Anyone tried that?

Update: I used CERAKOTE because they had it at a local Walmart. Very pleased with the results. Been through several engine heat cycles and rear clam holding up very well
