Well, my feeling is, and I'm sure many others will feel the same as well... is that if number 10 becomes non-functional unless the customer continues paying for support, it's a deal breaker!

Macs are a very small market but you can bet, sooner or later, a hacker out of China or Russia will provide a bootleg copy of one of the diag tools to include Mac. My local shop's tool now supports Macs so they must have released the keys and function definitions to the diag consortium.

Once again - thank you. No brainer to purchase your product if options 1-8, 9, 10, 14 remained active with no subscription. Problem is that for many users, it would be great to have - but many might only use this once or twice per year (i.e. reset after an oil change). Too bad you couldn't make it active 1-8, and then allow usage of 9, 10, 14 for 2 or 3x per year for no subscription....

thank you I have a technical questions, does the software include the relearn program for the windows doors and roof
I had a dead battery and after waking it back up I was able to get everything working correctly except for a couple weird things like I can’t pull window down fron the driver side switch but yes from the passenger side, also when I open the passe door the window goes all way down instead of opening the usual inch or so, also I can’t open the roof unless the doors are open, sort of annoying stuff but I wan to make sure your software has the capability.
For the members that are thinking about the Autel 908S Pro or equivalent I just learned today that Autel will ne discounting the McLaren‘s un the next update, this came from a supervisor at tech support, the service options is very limited to the functions available, I got mine yesterday and returning it today, thumbs up to their tech support for the heads up, I’m not mentioning any names I don’t want to get anyone fired

you all keep running around with this diag code thing. golden motors has been steadfast in their pricing strategy pretty much from day 1 and his last posting is a reminder on what they think of this community.
either completely ignore it's existence with possible price change through attrition and stop reviving this thread or fork up the $$ and move on.

Sorry about reviving the thread but is anyone aware of a quality cost effective solution for non-subscription access to MIL light codes and resetting errors? I've got a MIL and am once again faced with the take it to the shop or do it myself (which I at least prefer to know what the problem is and what is involved in the solution even if I have a shop take corrective action). No need to re-flash or otherwise change mapping on the car - perfectly happy with Mac's work.

OBDLink MX+ and the Torque app will allow you to read some basic fault codes and reset/clear the ECU from them.

An example, I had a speed sensor wire break. OBD reader/Torque told me 'speed circuit error', that was it.

The actual McLaren diagnostic tool told which specific sensor/wheel with a resistance error.

First time it went, the service centre did it all, reset the codes, etc. Cost me £200.

It went again, just further down the wire. I did it myself, cleared the code in Torque and been good since.

Anything more complex, would be Diagcode or back to service...
