Here are the unofficial aggregate results for the Barcelona testing, taken from the Official F1 site. Don't know how meaningful it is, but I'd rather have my team at the top than the bottom.

Talk about extremes Alonso to Massa, they should have canned his ass years ago. Then you look at Button compared to the new guy Perez, truly amazing what happens when fresh young blood comes into the F1 scene. Well lets hope Button can return to form and give Perez a run for his money, should be exciting. Cheers.....??

Guys this is still testing, Massa probably didn't even do a 1-lap run on softs and low fuel to attempt a time at Barc. Massa had one of the quicker times at Jerez, I think maybe even the quickest. He was also faster than Alfonso by the end of last year. Not that I'm a fan of his because I'm not, but get your facts straight! :)

When we were watching the testing from track side , where we had a view of 5 corners, it was clear some drivers were going for it at the limit and some taking it easy on different lines. So they all had their own agendas. Times were not comparable imop.

Heavy fuel, light fuel. Soft tyres, hard tyres. Big downforce, light downforce.......blah, blah

IMHO JB is a somewhat better than average F1 driver when it comes to driving a few laps, but I think he is THE MASTER of using strategy in the course of the race, especially tire management. So that Sergio did better in these types of conditions is a good sign for him but not a bad indicator for JB. Sergio drives with his reflexes and his heart; JB drives with his experience and his brain.

I think between the two of them, you've got the waterfront covered.

6th: You keep us honest. I'm sticking to my prediction. LH and Mercedes will trail Red Bull (Vettel), McLaren (Jensen or Sergio), and Lotus (Kimi). Possibly also Ferrari/Alonzo.

In preseason testing, everyone led the timing charts for one day (except the backmarkers) and Red Bull didn't lead until the last day. This is the hand of Bernie stimulating sales of F1 travel packages and early tickets by giving every substantial team time in the sun. (Remember, Bernie bribes German bankers who go to jail and Bernie gets away with it.) Bernie would never rig a race, that would be stupid. But "helping" with testing times -- -- well, that's just good business.

So the fact that LH/Merc had a couple of good days in Barcelona means nothing.

If my predictions are right, you will never hear the end of it. If I am wrong, I will re-register on the Forum under a new name. :D

OK 6th: Give me your predictions.

All other clairvoyants, chime in.

Best regards.

Lol, you got me George! How could I forget that Bernie is pulling all the strings. It is true.

I think Red Bull will win. How is that for clairvoyant? :D
