All (clamps) coolant leaks claims now declined . They stopped authorise them

Apparently they use to authorise them by mistake..
so basically what they saying the don’t cover hoses and the clamp extension to the hose ..

So far, iirc, it's been covering the clamp problem, but not if the hose itself breaks.

The clamps were always covered in the past. But not the hoses. Which always seemed weird to me. If anyone in the Sf Bay Area needs clamps/hoses replaced, now that the extended won’t cover them, contact me.

I had 6 clamps leak claims last year , they covered all except one , they denied it because there was hole in the hose..

Yesterday I called dealer for new leak related claim ., they told me before you bring the car you need to know that the warranty company don’t cover clamps leaks any more .. they covered them in past by mistake .. ..

Yes the hoses was part of the exclusion ..
Never covered..

I think mclaren left them self vulnerable buy not including the word “LEAKS”..

See Ferrari extenders warranty . The clearly say They don’t cover leaks hoses ( this include oil, coolant any fluid ) and this was very clear contract

give the lawyers some motivation and put some dollars around the issue ….

some of the biggest threads and concerns related to fairly minuscule amounts (one guy decides to start a thread that was for $350 , another guy for something that was $2,500
