At present I use an iPod classic to the USB in the arm rest, perfect. Phone to Bluetooth is also perfect.

I have an Android phone (HTC) which I've tried to connect to the USB via the micro USB and 3.5mm socket on the phone, this doesn't work as the car doesn't recognise the phone.

I'd like to connect the phone as then I could have the Camera Alert app on audio through the car speakers, I could also use the music on the phone for that matter.

My question then, is this; has anyone successfully connected their Android phone to the car via the aux socket? And was it to the micro USB or 3.5mm headphone socket on the phone, just so that I know which cable to order.

Thanks.

Hi Naranja, to answer your question- I have the same set up. Ipod connected via usb and my android phone connected via standard 3.5mm aux connector. It works fine.

Cheers

Thanks Mr Wolf. So that puts audio from the phone to the cars audio? IE from stored music or an app?
