Cash and prizes would be swell. If anyone has any, please let us know. In the meantime, let's pick the win-place-show on Sunday. I'll go first.

1. Kimi
2. Jensen
3. Fernando

PS: Lewis and Mercedes will finish no better than sixth. I like Lewis a lot, but it will be bedlam at Mercedes with Wolf, Lauda and Brawn all simultaneously in charge. I'm glad Lewis got a lot of money. He's a good fellow.

Hard one to call, should be another great year hopefully as exciting as last years.

1- Vettel
2- Perez
3- Alonso

-Vettel will continue his winning ways.
-Perez just because he's the new guy with lots to prove and driving a McLaren.
-Alonso just because his driving abilities and Ferrari needs to be on the podium but behind McLaren.

It's going to be great??

Can I suggest a change in format to make it more fun? Why not pick the pole first, then once qualifying is done, we make our predictions for the race. Just to give a second chance if your original podium picks have bad quali or grid penalties or something.

Which cars showed prominence during '13 winter testing (Jerez, 5-8 Feb; Barcelona, 19-22 Feb; Barcelona, 28 Feb - 3 March)...
Rain is forecast frid through sun.
That should sort em out!
Raises Button's stock for sure, not to mention he generally starts his seasons off relatively well. Lotsa new shiny stuff w/ his MP4-28, it'll be interesting to see it all come together in a competitive setting!

Albert Park is an unique track where mechanical grip has more influence than aerodynamics. That could turn any expected results from winter testing numbers on their head a bit. I think it is too early to guess at which team or drivers will rise to the top - we'll get a better impression after the practice sessions are completed here.

Hard to say. I followed testing carefully but as usual things can change. McLaren don't sound overly optimistic for the race. They seem to be having a tough time with the car. I'm hoping it's set-up related and not anything fundamental like on the /24. No surprise. Conceptually, the car is very different to the /27, high nose, pull-rod front suspension.

I'll say Webber for pole.

I stayed up to watch practice last night so not only am I tired but I'm also angry. The car is bad. It's a mess right now. MW confirmed it. The best they can hope for is points. It's going to be a tough season but I think McLaren will get to the front eventually.

Sounds like a good plan. Since I'm generally the one who starts these things, I'll kick it off with the next race. Thanks 6th.
