It think it is important to remember the warranty he purchased cost 14,000 dollars and they found a loophole to deny a claim for a component that was listed as a covered part.

The lesson here is Keep your money and self insure!

I can confirm the situation was true. I actually make every customer send me the ACUTUAL contract when we are requestted to file repair work with a 3rd party warranty company.

  • He WAS still in his contract period.
  • The oil pump WAS a covered repair item per the written contract.

The warranty company DID act like a snake and slithered all around the issue... Basically they found every excuse in the book to not pay the claim.


RESULT? Don't give your money to a stranger today, and HOPE they will give you a fraction of it back tomorrow.

Instead, Keep your money, and pay for any repairs IF they ever happen in the future.
