The front and rear aero has been improved for the 2013 12C GT3, the rear wing is higher and optimised for the aero flow over the rear. The front splitter is simply larger.

The paint job would be a wrap, almost all race cars are wrapped these days as it's far cheaper than painting...

And please, if you're the first to post please don't quote the OP....not that keen to see the same pictures twice.

Well yeah, they come in white from McLaren unless specified otherwise :p The Hexis cars iirc came from McLaren GT unpainted, i.e bare carbon.

Also, I believe Clearwater used to race Ferrari's? If so they've made a change for the better :D

Hi guys I am the managing director of Clearwater Racing and a fellow 12C owner (McLaren Orange if you were wondering, not chrome!) Have been intently reading this forum for the last 6 months. Yes Mitch, we used to race a pair of Ferrari 458 GT3s last year in the GT3 Asia championship, but we've bought a single 12c Gt3 for the reigning GT Asia Champion, hence the car wears the #1 on it!

You guys have guessed correctly, this livery is a wraps not paint. We were gonna paint it chrome but that would have taken 2 months to do correctly and the car was 2 months delayed from McLaren GT in working!!

We are still going to use our Ferrari 458 GT3 for our 12 & 24 hour endurance races and we will use te Mac primarily for 1 hour sprint races to begin with.

Thank you all or your positive comments! They are much appreciated!!

That is one stunning racecar. Best of luck with it and welcome to the forum. Please post often about your experiences racing the 12C GT3.
